Il signe le meilleur temps des essais libres 1, mais ne parvient pas à se qualifier pour la SuperPole. Sur la grille, il occupe la sixième position.

Sébastien Buemi won the two ePrix held in Uruguay in seasons 1 and 2. He continued where he’d left off by showing his mastery of the circuit laid out beside the Atlantic ocean by setting the fastest time in free practice 1. But he failed to qualify for the SuperPole shootout and started the race in sixth place on the grid.
