While nearly 50 drivers prepare to battle in the Clio Cup Open during the Formula 1 French Grand Prix weekend from June 21-23, Renault Sport Racing has already set the date and chosen the venue for the rematch : July 26-28 at Hockenheim during the German Grand Prix.

Nico a réussi un premier tour mouvementé, a bien géré ses pneus et a pu profiter d'une période de voiture de sécurité pour son deuxième arrêt dans la lutte pour les positions à venir à la fin de la course de 56 tours. Carlos a mené une course similaire pour terminer neuvième, également difficile pour la position à venir dans le dernier tour.

Nico fought through an eventful first lap, managed his tyres well and was able to take advantage of a safety car period for his second stop to be in the fight for the positions ahead come the end of the 56-lap race. Carlos fought a similar race to finish ninth, also challenging for the position ahead on the final lap.
