Formula 1 celebrates an historic milestone at this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix: the 1,000th Grand Prix in F1 history.

Renault has been present in Formula 1 for more than 40 years, but will look to the future in a special demonstration run at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Historically, F1 has raced predominantly in the West, but Renault gives a nod to the growing importance of Asia and in particular China on the global economic and motorsport stage as rising Chinese motor racing star Guanyu Zhou will give demonstration laps of the Shanghai International Circuit.
