Year after year, the Clio R3T Trophy France cements its position in the French rally landscape. Two weeks from the season opener on the Lyon-Charbonnières, edition five of the trophy organised by Renault Sport Racing promises to be incredibly competitive with the presence of some 30 crews in 2019.

More than ever, the Clio R3T Trophy France proves attractive while remaining loyal to its core principles of exceptional reliability, controlled costs, unmatched sporting and technical fairness and a very attractive prize money distribution system… A recipe seducing more and more crews as the entry list for this new season proves it !
Junior category winner and second overall last year, Guillaume Jean is among the favourites to be the successor to Benoît Vaillant, Charles Martin, Cédric Robert and Florian Bernardi.
The Marseille native will have to contend with other 2018 front-running drivers, like Mathieu Walter, Damien Tozlanian and Boris Carminati. Yoann Lambert and Ivan Ferrarotti are also back for their respective first full-seasons in the trophy, that is about to discover Cédric Noe and Dorian Nicolas.
Now familiar with the rounds of the French Rally Championship, José Javier Pérez and William Pitot want to take the mantle from Guillaume Jean in the Junior category, as do newcomers Alexis Frontier, Jérémy Jamet Romain di Fante, who are eager to prove themselves.
In the Gentleman category, Éric Filippi wants to make good use of his experience against rivals such as Guy Bertrand or Olivier Courtois, who is the defending champion in the Clio R3T Trophy Alps !
A sign of the international scope of the Trophy is the arrival of American Keanna Erickson-Chang who will also be worth keeping an eye on. Coming straight from the United States, she will face Charlotte Berton and Sara Williams, both of whom have made their intentions known of returning this year.
Well-known in the service park, Pascal Bérard, Christophe Herbelin, Dominique Patenotte and Philippe Rageau will still be on hand and could battle with Pascal Aimé and Julien Brégeon on some rounds. Franck Badel, Antoine La Rochefoucauld, Raphaël Marry, Nicolas Miclo and Kim Daldini will also all make their debut in the trophy.
