Farid ARACTINGI appointed President of ECIIA (European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing)

Boulogne Billancourt – On 23 September 2017, Mr Farid Aractingi, Groupe Renault VP, director of Audit, Risk and Organization and chairman of Renault-Nissan Consulting was appointed president of ECIIA (European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing).

He takes over from Mr Henrik Stein, audit director of DZ Bank. ECIIA comprises 47,000 auditors from internal audit institutes in 35 European countries.

Farid Aractingi
Farid Aractingi holds an MS in engineering from France’s École des Mines and a BA in history, as well as an executive MBA from Wharton. After developing extensive expertise in information systems with several major companies, Mr Aractingi joined Groupe Renault in 1999, as CIO for Purchasing and Support Functions. In this capacity he rolled out SAP company-wide. He was appointed Chief audit executive of Groupe Renault in 2007, then VP, Audit, Risk and Organization in 2012. Farid Aractingi is also chairman of Renault-Nissan Consulting. From 2012 to 2016, he chaired the French Institute of Internal Audit (IFACI). From 2011 to 2017, he taught governance and control in the certification programme for company administrators run by Sciences-Po (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and the Institut Français des Administrateurs (French Institute of Administrators).
