  • After starting from pole position in Bahrain for the third year running, the no.36 Signatech Alpine Matmut crew ended the six-hour race in fourth place.
  • Having suffered substantial degradation of their tyres at the start of the race, Lapierre, Negrão and Menezes then gambled on their tyre choice.
  • Alpine finishes third in the FIA WEC's Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Teams.
  • Runner-up at the 6 Hours of Shanghai, the no.36 Signatech Alpine Matmut crew recorded a fifth consecutive LMP2 podium in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

  • The result of the Lapierre/Negrão/Menezes crew was obtained thanks to a strategy focused on efficiency, paired with fuel and tyre management.

Building on the performance displayed in Mexico, André Negrão and Nicolas Lapierre claimed a second consecutive pole position in the no.36 Alpine A470. Men and machines were already being sorely tested, as air temperatures peaked at around 35°C.

  • The Signatech Alpine team produced an impressive performance to finish second in LMP2 as the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) resumed at the 6 Hours of Mexico.

  • After claiming pole position, Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes and André Negrão secured the no.36 Alpine A470's best result this season.

  • The final standings of the 24 Hours of Le Mans have been altered following the disqualification of the no.13 Vaillante Rebellion.
  • The Signatech Alpine Matmut therefore moved up in the overall standings: the no.35 Alpine A470 finished on the LMP2 podium, whilst the no.36 car was eighth.

• Both of the Signatech Alpine Matmut team's Alpine A470s made it to the end of this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
• Running in the top three of the overall standings with less than an hour to go, the no.35 car (Panciatici/Ragues/Negrão) ended up finishing fourth in the LMP2 category and fifth overall.
• After a superb comeback, the no.36 car (Dumas/Menezes/Rao) finished in the top 10 of its category.

  • The second round of the FIA WEC World Championship took place today at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
  • The race was difficult for the Alpine A470 cars, with the #36 (Dumas / Menezes / Rao) finishing in fifth place, just ahead of the #35 (Panciatici / Ragues / Negrão)
  • Signatech Alpine Matmut will now concentrate on preparing for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (17-18 June). The team will be on track from the 4th of June for the Test Day on the Circuit de la Sarthe.

• The Alpine A470 of Nicolas Lapierre/Gustavo Menezes/Matt Rao finished the opening race of the 2017 season in fourth position.
• Signatech Alpine Matmut dominated the majority of the race, but the team's strategy was undermined by the intervention of the safety car.
• Two Alpine A470s will be competing at the next round, which will be held on 6 May at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).

  • The Signatech Alpine Matmut team fielded a full-strength line-up this weekend at Monza for the official prologue of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
  • Driving in dry, wet and then drying conditions, the no.35 and no.36 Alpine A470s managed to rack up more than 2,400km in testing.
  • The season gets underway in two weeks' time at the 6 Hours of Silverstone (16 April 2017).
  • Alpine today presented the Signatech Alpine Matmut team's programme for the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at its new showroom.
  • Featuring Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes and Matt Rao, the crew of the no.36 car will be tasked with defending the world titles secured in 2016.
  • Since Nicolas Lapierre has been called up to drive for a manufacturer competing in the LMP1-H class, Signatech Alpine Matmut will be welcoming Romain Dumas into the fold at Spa-Francorchamps and for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
