Renault Sport Racing is pleased to announce that the nine teams who competed in the 2017 season will return to the battle in 2018.

Among the well-established open-wheel teams, R-ace GP, which captured its first title this year and Josef Kaufmann Racing, which will aim for a third driver’s championship after taking Lando Norris and Sacha Fenestraz to the title these past two years.

AVF by Adrián Vallés, Fortec Motorsports, JD Motorsport and Tech 1 Racing will also try to win the crown. After their campaigns spent discovering or rediscovering the category this season, Arden Motorsport, MP Motorsport and Mark Burdett Motorsport will rely on the experience they gained to upset the hierarchy.

For its 48th season, the Formula Renault Eurocup will bring together the most promising drivers of their generation to ten circuits found on the F1 calendar. Their will be two 30-minute plus one lap races per weekend (except Monaco where the two race will be 25-minutes plus one lap) in support of professional international championships, for the competitors to fight for the title and one of the two places on offer to join the Renault Sport Academy in 2019.

With an impressive average of 30 entries per meeting in 2017, all lights are green for having starting grids just as full next year. While some ten drivers have already signed up, Fortec Motorsports has gotten the announcement period underway in confirming the arrival of 16 year-old Jordan Cane who won three times in BRDC F3. He is known for being the youngest Briton in history to have won an open-wheel race at the age of 14.
