Boulogne Billancourt, February 1st 2019 - On the occasion of the Retromobile 2019 exhibition, Groupe Renault is auctioning the F1 R.S.17 entirely built in LEGO® as well as the Renault e.dams Z.E.17 show car, for the benefit of UNICEF France, the United Nations of International Children's Emergency Fund*. This action is being promoted by the Renault Foundation, one of whose main commitments is to promote universal access to education.

Made on a scale of 1, with nearly 313,000 LEGO® bricks, this reproduction of the R.S.17 single-seater uses the yellow and black colors of the 2017 Renault Sport Formula One Team single-seater. Equipped with four Pirelli tyres and a faithful copy of the steering wheel, this unique piece is the result of the partnership between Renault F1 Team and LEGO® to celebrate Renault's 40th anniversary in F1. It was unveiled on November 30, 2017 at L'Atelier Renault and was then presented to the public on Formula 1 circuits during the 2018 season.

A replica of the single-seater that competed in season 4 of the 2017/2018 FIA Formula E Championship, the Renault e.dams Z.E.17 is equipped with a steering wheel, O.M.P. harnesses, O.Z. rims and Michelin tires identical to the race model. More than an ultra-modern sculpture, this show is a reminder of Renault's contribution to the international emergence of this new sporting discipline thanks to its expertise, both in the field of production electric vehicle engineering and motor racing.

Organized by Artcurial Motorcars, the event will take place on Sunday, February 10th, 2019, at the Retromobile show and will bring together a catalogue of 150 vehicles and automotive objects. For their price, the F1 R.S.17 was estimated between 30 000€ and 50 000€ and the Formula e.dams Z.E.17 between 10 000€ and 20 000€.

Who says better? Once, twice, three times?

Visit the exhibition or the Group's twitter account to find out the final amount of the sale, which will be donated in its entirety to the association.
