Jean-Philippe joins the business from Renault Retail Group (RRG) in France. Prior to joining RRG Roubes spent 13 years working for Groupe Renault, where he developed a high level of experience and held a variety of positions that were focused on sales and marketing. Jean-Philippe specialised in network strategy and profitability, as well as focusing on customer satisfaction.

Jean-Philippe replaces Mark Crockett who has worked at Renault in the UK and in France for the past 25 years. Mark will take up a new opportunity outside of Groupe Renault.

Discussing his new role at Groupe Renault UK, Jean-Philippe said: “This is an exciting new position for me personally and I can’t wait to start working here in the UK. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team to ensure we repeat last year’s success in 2019 and that we continue to meet the objectives of the Drive The Future Mid-Term Plan.”

Groupe Renault sold 86,479 vehicles in the UK in 2018 and, with its Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands, held a 3.65 per cent share of the UK new car market.
