The Signatech Alpine Matmut team is currently 3rd in the provisional rankings of the LMP2 category with 52 points, 13 points ahead of the competitor in 2nd place.
For the second round outside Europe (Mexico, USA, China, Bahrain), Signatech Alpine Matmut, as initially decided, will compete with car #36, with a team consisting of Nicolas Lapierre, Gustavo Menezes and André Negrao.
Matt Rao, who was part of the #36 team, and the Signatech Alpine Matmut team have decided to end their collaboration after the 6 Hours of Nürburgring WEC race. André Negrao will compete in #36 through to the end of the season.
