In these conditions, Max Defourny (R-ace GP) led the two sessions, clocking the best time of the day in 2:14.542 ahead of his team mates, series leader Will Palmer (R-ace GP) and SMP Racing protégé Robert Schwartzman (R-ace GP). Renault Sport Academy driver, Max Fewtrell (Tech 1 Racing) was quickest among the Eurocupers rookies.

We head to Spain for the first European race of the season with the target of continuing to score points. Barcelona is an event where we often see many upgrades to the cars and we have some new parts ourselves. We’ve had a solid run of points in the past two races and we want to continue that.

After the season kicked off at Le Touquet, round two of the Clio R3T Trophy France is due to be held at the Rallye Antibes Côte d’Azur (12-14 May). Winner of the opening round, Cédric Robert will start as favourite, but his ten rivals will be determined to give him a run for his money in the south-east corner of France.
From May 11th to the 14th, the Fomula Renault Eurocup will return to Silverstone after a one year absence. On one of the fastest circuits on the calendar, the drivers will be keen to pursue or change the first trends that emerged at Monza before heading to the streets of Pau and Monaco.

Renault Sport Formula One Team secured its second points-scoring finish of 2017 with a robust eighth place from Nico Hülkenberg in the VTB Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Autodrom.

After claiming the pole position this morning, Robert Shwartzman (R-ace GP) scored his first victory at the conclusion of the opening race of the 2017 Formula Renault Eurocup season.
The first meeting of the 2017 Formula Renault Eurocup season got off to a flying start! Will Palmer (R-ace GP) set fastest time in the collective tests with a lap of 1:47.978, bettering the previous best time in the category at the Autodromo di Monza by nearly a second.
