The Clio R3T Trophy France returns to action with the first event of the new season at the Rallye Le Touquet – Pas-de-Calais (16-18 March). A substantial field of ten crews is set to contest the opening round of the year, featuring several leading names, including former French Rally Championship runner-up, Cédric Robert. Julien Fébreau, F1 journalist and a regular at rallycross circuits, is also due to take part.

The 2017 Geneva Motor Show sees Renault unveil its ZOE e-Sport Concept, and show the world premiere of the New Captur. Meanwhile, New Koleos and the Alaskan debut in Europe in 2017.
Graham Field (Southwell, Notts) has announced he will stay with reigning Champion team JamSport Racing for 2017’s Renault UK Clio Cup.
- Renault and Heudiasyc, a joint research unit formed by UTC (Université de Technologie de Campiègne) and the CNRS, have created SIVALab, a laboratory specialising in localization and perception systems for autonomous vehicles.
- This scientific and technological partnership has been set up for an initial, extendable period of four years. It is founded on an existing association that began more than 10 years ago and will use the Renault ZOE-based autonomous vehicle platforms developed by Heudiasyc.

Companies sign research contract to develop mobility services system for self-driving vehicles.
PARIS (Feb. 27, 2017) - The Renault-Nissan Alliance and Transdev have agreed to jointly explore development of mobility services with fleets of electric driverless vehicles for public and on-demand transportation.
After a year competing in Europe, rapid one-make saloon car racer Lucas Orrock (Cambridge) has become the second driver in a week to announce he will contest the Renault UK Clio Cup in 2017 with the reigning Champion team JamSport.
